What isn't what I thought it would be?
My life. My work. My family. The whole thing (the ups and the downs). This is not the life that I dreamed about.
In my early 20s, I had a vision for my life and none of it is actually what I am doing now. Why? Because life unfolded and I changed along with it which means that the vision I had no longer was relevant.
I don't do the work I thought I would.
I have more children than I would have imagined.
I live on an acreage even though I'm a city girl.
And I love it! I'm so grateful that it turned out this way. The good times, the bad times and everything in between.
My work fulfills me in a way that the other work wouldn't have. My girls are the light of my life and my reason for so much of what I continue to do and the acreage creates a connection to nature that my mind, body and soul needs on a daily basis.
My life didn't turn out the way I expected it to at all. If you feel the same way, the only choice you have is to love your life the way that it is or take action to change it.

WHAT I'M LISTENING TOO RIGHT NOW...
This podcast is inspired by those podcasts that are impacting lives in a very big way including Andy Frisella's MFCEO Project which is always pure fire and filled with great strategy for life and business and Dr. Karen Osburn's Women Wanting More where she shares honest truths about waking up and living life.
Depending on the state of your life right now, this may be one of the hardest things for you to do.
Trust. Trust in the timing. Trust that the "bump in the road" or the "mountain in front of you" is part of the journey and that you will know what step to take next.
I don't know how many times in business and in my life, I have questioned when the timing wasn't working out only to look back once I had passed that hurdle and see why it needed to unfold the wait it did.
Just because you are delayed, stalled out or indefinitely paused, it doesn't mean that you should quit. Sometimes, the universal timing just needs to sort itself out so that it can continue to unfold the next steps for you.

I get asked a lot how I manage to get so much done in my day with 3 girls, a husband who is away a lot and doing this business and still have extra time for me to choose what I want to do.
I've always been pretty organized and I love to keep my space decluttered and the energy flowing which I know really helps me to be productive. I've practiced Feng Shui for over 13 years and it has changed my life. (To learn more about that, visit www.jillethier.com and look under courses for the Feng Shui one that I teach.)
In addition to that, one of the MOST IMPORTANT things that I do each day is to serve my mental, physical and spiritual energy.
I have a devoted daily practice that takes care of my energy. And when I take care of my energy, it means that I feel more energized and can be more productive. It also means that I am connected to the call of my soul and fulfilling my purpose daily and that sure helps with getting stuff done!
Listen in to hear all about my daily practice and why I feel that everyone needs one!

You have a story.
Have you shared it yet?
If you have, have you shared enough of it?
I've shared mine in a book (When the Meaning is Lost), throughout my work with clients in my online programs and via this podcast.
It is the most powerful thing that I have ever done.
I believe sharing your story is something that we should all do more of.
It connects us with others. It allows us to remember how far we have come. And it creates hope and peace in others when they know they are not alone in their story.
We all have a story.
It can be one of defeat and triumph. One of pain and peace. One of shattered trust and hope renewed. It doesn't matter which it is, there is someone out there that needs to hear your story because they are going through something similar and need the hope that you can provide.
Don't quiet the desire to share.
Embrace it.
It is one of the scariest things that you will ever do and one of the most powerful and important as well.
Listen in to find out how I want to help you share your story and why I feel that it is our obligation to share ours. Listen in!

I believe that if you aren't learning, you are dying. I know it sounds dramatic but I truly feel that we are here to learn, grow and share what we've learned. That is the overall purpose of life.
I know that learning has helped me through so many tough times in my life and having a desire to expand my knowledge has led me down unexpected paths and allowed me to create even more of what I want in my life.
In this episode, I share with you what I've learned that has served me in so many big ways and why I feel that you should commit to being or continue to be a life long learner as well. Listen in!
